Acheron is a market maker holding a CASP license issued by the AFM in the Netherlands under MiCAr and with passporting in all EU countries.
Acheron provides liquidity services to digital asset issuers from their most embryonic stages and throughout their adoption cycle. It is our belief that market inefficiency is one of the factors preventing digital assets from achieving mass adoption.
We’re now looking to add a Jr. Quant Trader, Research to our team to support our data-driven initiatives and provide market commentary to our clients. In this role, you will work directly with the broader trading team and proprietary leads to optimize trading strategies for issuers, VCs, and funds. You will receive hands-on training from senior members of our trading team, gaining deep exposure to digital asset trading and liquidity strategies.
We are seeking candidates in the following location:
● Amsterdam
The role will include a 3-month learning period based in Singapore.
What You Will Be Doing
● Supporting the backend build of a structured data room for both internal and external use
● Leading and contributing to research initiatives that inform market strategy and client advisory
● Supporting the deployment of new algorithms, clients, and markets
● Monitoring and responding to trading alerts
● Assisting with active trading
● Assisting with trade execution
● Assisting with asset rebalancing
● Helping to keep track of client treasury balances
● Providing recurring and ad-hoc trading reports to clients
● Responding to client questions, escalating questions to senior traders
Skills and Experience
● Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related technical field
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen interest in trading and market structure
● Basic understanding of digital asset markets
● Strong attention to detail and ability to make decisions under pressure
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
● Proficiency in Python, SQL, or another programming language is a plus
● A proactive, self-driven mindset with the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced trading environment
● Prior experience in market making, trading, or execution services is a plus
